Accommodation
Living room with kitchen area. View across the Eden Valley to Cross Fell, the highest peak in the Pennines. A woodburning stove heats this room (and the rest of the cottage).
The Kitchen area is fitted out with a microwave oven, a Calor Gas cooker and a fridge. All necessary cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided.
Main bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe, etc.
Second bedroom with bunk beds, wardrobe, etc.
Third bedroom with bunk beds, en suite shower and adjacent WC
Bathroom with bath, shower, WC, wash basin and shaver point.
The bunk beds in rooms 2 and 3 are full width and suitable for use by adults or children.
Ample car parking adjacent to the cottage. Bedding, towels, etc are all provided. Hot water by Calor gas. Heating by wood-burning stove and supplementary electric heaters. All electricity is on a pre-pay meter. Clothes may be washed in the machine in the wash house and hung on the line in the garden (there is a charge of £3.00 per wash). Wireless broadband (for which we make no additional charge) is available in The Byre.
Pets: Please note that pets are welcome, but they should please be kept out of the bedrooms, and they must be kept under control where there are farm animals about.
